INTRODUCTION
The Calgary Oriental Traditional Chinese Dress Qipao Association is a Alberta registered NPO founded in April 2018. It uses traditional Qipao as a bridge to promote cultural understanding and meaningful exchange within our diverse multicultural society through education, cultural presentations, and community engagement, we celebrate and preserve our heritage while fostering mutual respect and appreciation among people of all backgrounds.
Our goals are to strengthen cultural identity and pride, support active participation in mainstream society, and contribute to a more inclusive and vibrant community. By preserving our cultural traditions and building connections across cultures, we transform traditional dress into a symbol of diversity, unity, and shared belonging.
